Changeup! I couldn’t get the second half of the roster review out the way I liked it in time, so I’m going to
run through my predictions for the team instead. As with yesterday, all the World Cup Series posts are brought to you in connection with The Power Trip Morning Show on KFAN AM 1130 (Minneapolis, 6-9am CT: GMT-6) The second half of the roster review will likely come tomorrow, and the full tournament prediction will come either Sunday or early monday morning.
And now after the jump the (still ludicrously long) predictions I have for the United States in the tournament.

As mentioned previously, the Addenda Provided World Cup series is brought you in connection with the Power Trip
Morning Show on KFAN (AM 1130 in Minneapolis, 6-9am Central Time (GMT -6))
I’m going to preface this entire World Cup series by saying that I am not going to pretend like I am an encyclopedia of knowledge about the entire US team, or the MLS, or have up-to-the-minute information on every team, because I don’t. My relationship with soccer is more of a good friendship with an ex-girlfriend – when I was younger, I used to like soccer as much as Mark Rosen loves his twitter feed (go see it!). But in the last couple years, my experiences with soccer, although more precisely the soccer games in person, became somewhat jaded, with the continuous violence, aggressiveness and unpleasantness of the fans. This led to me forsaking the sport entirely, and my increasing interest in Football, Baseball and Hockey.
However, in the last year or so, I have begun to reconcile with my former love, and began to get interested in it again, and although this limited my knowledge somewhat, what with new superstars emerging (e.g Argentina’s Messi) and old ones fading (e.g England’s David Beckham). So these pieces won’t have the key points of insight that you might come to expect from a professional preview/review situation, or from a major sports outlet, but I hope to give you an interesting look into a sport that you may not follow that closely, and have at least some points to share with your mates at the sports bar come June 12th.
OK, before I say anything else , I want every US soccer fan to calm down over the 4-2 loss to the Czech Republic. The fact that they were ‘also rans’ for the World Cup does not outweigh the fact this was a warm-up match, and that coach Bob Bradley played it like it was – resting the big names and key elements such as Tim Howard, Landon Donovan, Michael Bradley and Clint Dempsey and giving those on the bubble and those not in full fitness a run out (Edson Buddle, Oguchi Onyewu), in order to have some meaningful information in order to trim the roster down to the 23-man limit.
That roster trimming has been completed, and the first part can be found after the jump, along with some insight into the team selection.

In an attempt to stop the Russian Viagra sellers (still doing pretty well guys, so please stop selling stuff I don’t need), all of your comments will be subject to moderation. I apologise if this causes inconvenience, but it’s either moderating a couple comments a week or marking 100′s of comments as spam each day.
First World Cup post will be up later this week. My computer is still out of commision at the moment, but the hard drives should be sent back this week sometime, so I hope to have my gear together before the first actual game between the US and England.

OK, first off, apolgies again for not posting anything this last week, but I’ve been busy with exam prep, along with prep for another thing that I am announcing now.
In partnership with The Power Trip Morning Show on KFAN AM 1130 (Minnesota), I will be producing Addenda Provided World Cup Updates – Making America care about soccer just that little bit more for about a month before it goes back to being near irrelevent. All joking about the lack of popular support of the MLS aside (Go Fire!), I will be looking to create several audio reports during the World Cup. My equipment is out of commission at the moment, so the first one will probably have to be writing, but even then, it’s likely only roster conclusions and previews of the first few matches, which is stuff better written anyway. If you have any suggestions as to what you would like to included, please e-mail be, but please be aware that the show will center in following the United States and England, alongside with a brief look at the main teams. So I doubt North Korea will get much mention….
Other than the concept, not much has been collated yet, but look for the first post with it in the next day or two.

First off, I would like to apologize again for taking so long in getting a new post out. I will try and get one more out this week, most likely an OHP.
In this post, I will review what the Vikings did and provide some insight into what I think the Vikings should have done at some of the spots, most notably the second of our 2nd Round picks. But before the jump and my opinion, a quick review on who the Vikings picked up during the NFL Draft.

What with more university stuff to sort out, revision for exams in June, along with other work stuff and things like my bass needing repairs and the ever-present problem of my non-functioning epic computer, I haven’t been able to get a post out at all. The Vikes draft review post I had been doing is at the same spot as before, although I have the beginning of a Nickelback OHP from just screwing about with On-The-Go/Shuffle playing.
With that said, I can’t make any firm dates as to when blogs will be out. Chances are I’ll get at least one out this week and one next week. But come the end of May until mid-June, I’ll be on a break anyway due to the exams. I expect that once that eases up, I’ll be a bit more free to get some more out, and come the end after the 21st June, I’ll be straight on to do another post.
I’m in a great mood due to the form of the Minnesota Twins and the possibility that the Vikes might be trading for Albert Haynesworth to help cover for the Williams Wall during their BS suspension, as well as becoming the heir apparent to Phat Pat at Defensive Tackle. But I am also a little bit annoyed with myself for not giving you guys the activity I promised. But I am here, I am trying to get stuff out to you, so please bear with me a little longer.
Live loud everyone.
